Can I Have Contact With Boyfriend's Child With a Restraining Order Against His Mother
My question involves restraining orders in the State of: Louisiana

My boyfriend and I were granted a protective order against the mother of his child. She threatened and harassed us for at least 4 months before trying to run us off the road! She was told she can contact him only if it concerns their 2yr. old child. She recently told him that I am not allowed to be around his son because I have a P.O. against her and he is a part of her; is their any truth to this?

Nope. None. The only people restricted by a restraining order are those specific people addressed in the order (which would be her, and only her).

That's what I thought I just wanted to be sure. Thank you.
