My question involves criminal law for the state of: age limit on dating. I am a 17 year old boy and im about to tun 18. I was wondering if I can still date my 15 year old girlfriend. I understand that I cannot have sexual intercourse with her when im 18 but can I still date her. I really need an answer. Please help me out. Thank you.
Are you expecting that her parents are going to forbid the relationship? They can do that.
Her mum says she is okay with it. I just don't want to go to jail for dating a minor.

I am located on Florida but my girlfriend has moved up to buffalo, new york because of a restraining order on her dad
If you're @1,200 miles away from her, dating seems more like an academic exercise than a practical reality.

There are no laws as to who may DATE. There are only laws about who may have sexual contact.
If her mother says she may date you, then she may. If her mother says she may not, then she may not. Her parent(s) get to decide who she is allowed to date - the law does not address it as long as you keep your hands where they belong (which is off her).

Any LAWS about you living there? No.
But if anyone, and I do mean ANYONE, finds it inappropriate for you to be living in the home of your underaged girlfriend, with or without parent supervision and/or approval, they are free to report it to the authorities, who are then free to take whatever measures they find appropriate.
