Maternity Leave and Future Job Termination

My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: New York

I am a teacher and received a termination notice effective June 2012. I have been working at this job for over three years. I am due to have a baby at the end of September 2011 and would like to know how many weeks I can take for a maternity leave and still be eligible for unemployment when my job is terminated.

If you file a new UI claim in June 2012, the base period will be Jan 2011 through Dec 2011.
