Can I Move Out of Massachusetts if DSS Wants to Meet with Me

My question involves child abuse or neglect in the State of: Massachusetts

There was a domestic violence incident where my baby's father got arressted, had a no contact order put on him and he moved out of state with his family. I also would like to move out of state with my family, and was supposed to leave this Sunday. But I got a voice mail from DSS asking for a home visit?

You can go wherever you want. But if you take your child out of state under these circumstances you may find that DSS takes emergency jurisdiction over the child, and then seeks to enforce its jurisdiction in the other state, creating a complicated mess for you to unravel if you want to get your child out of foster care.
