    Phone Sex Law Between States
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas/California

Hi there, I was just curious about the Law regarding the phone sex in the state of Texas, as well as what kind of persecution I can face from law in california.
I was recently in a relationship with a girl who is 17, while I am 20 myself. Now to the best of my understanding, in Texas 17 is the legal age of consent.

Thanks in advance for any help.

INTERstate phone calls are governed by federal law, regardless of any affirmance by states.

This is where you need to research, try the US Code, Title 47 maybe/and or Title 18 is the Criminal Code.

Neither of these gave me any answer.

Read this: "Please do not ask in this forum if it is legal for you or someone else to engage in sex acts involving a minor or, if you're a minor, if it's legal for you to engage in sex acts with an adult. If you are concerned about potential prosecution for statutory rape or another sex crime, but nonetheless wish to pursue the relationship, consult a lawyer."
