My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Kansas:
My daughter is 5 almost six years old. Her biological "father" has never seen her or been in contact with her. I am seeking child support but have never recieved anything. Due to seeking child support the state required putting his name on the birth certificate. As I said its been almost six years and no contact from him or any thing. I want to know if I already have full/ permanent custody of my daughter or do I need to go through the courts to get it? Also my husband is wanting to adopt her so would it be unneccessary to go through custody aggreements? :wallbang:
