New Jersey Driver Skips Traffic Court in Ontario
My question involves traffic court in the State of: Ontario
Hi,
My good friend (NJ driver license) needs an advice:
"It was in Ontario, I was speeding , the cop clocked me on radar at 150 km/hr within
I believe 100 km/hr zone , arrested my car and suspended my driving license for 7 days ,
and gave me a ticket with a court date in February .
I got new license in NJ dmv in a few days claiming that i lost mine ,
then I picked up my car in 7 days , then Later on I received a letter that my driver's license
has been reinstated . I never showed up for the court .
Now I received a letter from them about reassigning my court date to June .
I'll make a copy of this letter for you next time I see you .
What are the consequences from not showing to this court again?
from what i've heard my fine is over $5,000.
I'm thinking of transferring my drivers license to new york and then may be to PA ,
so they would get tired of trucking me down .."
What would you recommend ?
Thank you in advance,
Oleg.

My only recommendation is don't post your question twice.

If we're talking about the Province of Ontario, Canada, you're beyond the scope of this forum as well.
