Forgotten Children of USA Military Fathers
I was born in Australia 1959 to parents I never got to meet. I tracked down a sister and have been informed i am the daughter of a US military father stationed in Australia during this time. Is there any help for me to find further information on who my father was and am or how do I apply for US citizenship if I am entitled? Any help much appreciated.
Please help me find who i am.

    Who are your legal parents?

    According to your birth certificate?

The People that adopted me are named as mother and father but apparently the government number of my birth advises I was adopted, hence me finding part of my life out.

Then they are your legal parents and you have no legal connection to your birth mother or your birth father. You can try to contact the adoption agency which took are of the adoption, but other than that all you can really do is start listing your information on adoption websites.

You cannot obtain US immigration benefits OR citizenship based on the information you've given.

Oh ok, thanks for your help. I wasn't looking for benefits as such more to try and find a missing father to put the puzzle pieces together.
I appreciate your help and will look for adoption websites.
