Can My Roommate Call the Police on Me if I Have a Party
My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: FL
I rent a room from someone in FL. She is a tenant as well, however I am not on the lease. We just have a written rental agreement. I am on my last 30 days now. I told her I was throwing a party for my brother at the house on Saturday night. She told me no because it took me a week to clean up after the last party we had. Plus she doesn't like my cleanliness habits. I feel that I should still be able to have the party because I live there and I'm paid through next month. She put a notice on my door threatening to call the police on me if I have the party tomorrow. I'm just worried because although I'm not on the lease we have the agreement. Although she does have in writing where she has asked me not to have parties. What can I do?
