Harassment: How Can I Press Charges on a Person Who is Harrassing Me and Win

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan

Last saturday March 19 my sister told me her ex boyfriend who happens to be my ex boyfriend's friend was txting her about me. He was using strong bad language about me, and would not stop. I then txt him myself saying to leave my sister alone and that she does not want anything to do with him. He txt me back swearing again calling me hurtful cruel names. I did't want to txt him back, so I called and said he needs to leave me a lone. He has been harrassing me after I confronted him on spreading rumors about me. He then on the phone swore at me and repeatly was mean, and so on. So I called him but I would not say anything, I called him and he called me back and it went back and forth. I called him a total of 13 times. I do know I was wrong for calling him. I have been ingoring him before hand and I finally had enough. While I was just silent dailing as I call it, he went off calling me very bad names, a long with his friend. I cried and told my friends what happen, and then I did not hear from him for a few days. Now on tuesday March 22, at 11 pm, I get spammed on my cell phone txts from him with more cruel things. I want to press charges, he won't stop. My friends have his facebook status where he posts on how he is spamming me. When I mention to him I would, he said he had proof I did the same. I never spammed him, I never called under private, or said cruel words, or swear words. My friends are going to print off his facebook status and I have all the call history and txt messages. How do I go about filing charges, and do I have a strong enough case?
