I Had My Nose Broken at a Bar for No Reason
My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA

I'm a 21 year old male and my nose was broken at a bar. I was on the top floor of a bar and there are stairs leading to the bottom porch on the outside. I was walking out to go down the stairs and as im heading down a man runs up to me on the stairs and starts yelling at me about a bottle that had fell from where i was and had landed near him. As i was trying to explain to him that i had just walked out he decides to just headbutt me and my nose was broken and i started pouring out blood. He and I were both expelled from the bar. I decided to call the police but he had tried to get in his car. So my friend and I stood behind it so he couldnt leave. The cops showed up and got him out of his car and began questioning him. I was slightly intoxicated but i was coherent. They cops asked me if i wanted to press charges and i said yes. They then told me to go to the hospital. I have no health insurance but i went anyway. My nose was fractured. I have pictures of my nose and there is now a 3/4 inch scar on my nose. My court date is coming up soon. I was wondering what charges will he be brought up on? also What should i do concerning my medical bills and should i sue him for more than that? Thank you.

what charges he will face is up to the district attorney/prosecuting attorney.

you might ask if there are any charges possible that would allow you to ask for restitution through the criminal courts. Some states have such systems in place. If that is not possible, you would be relegated to suing in whatever court your damages would fit within. If small claims is possible, it would surely be less expensive through that court rather than a superior court where a lawyer is just about required.
