    Signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement
Hi, I need to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement
and need to know what some fields mean. Here is the signature part of it:

    Quote:

In witness whereof the parties have executed this agreement as of the date first written above.

    XXX (company name)...........The Receiving Party
    By:________________ .........By:_________________
    Name & Title:________.........Name & Title:_______________
    Date:_______________.........Date:________________ _____

I have found on the internet that the "By:" field should be my name but before it there is "/s/".
What does the /s/ mean ?
    Thanks

If it's a "copy" of a document that has been signed, that indicates where the signature appeared. If it's a sample document, that indicates where a signature should go.

    Thanks you for the answer.
So if for the moment I've got it from the disclosing party by mail (they didn't sign on it) and i need to return it, Should I sign my name like this :
    " By : /s/ My_Name " ?

and What does /s/ mean ?

    Thanks
