    Paraphernalia Warrant with No Ticket
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Texas

Me and three others where caught smoking, searched, and let go free. They confiscated a pipe and less then a gram of weed. I did not get arrested nor given a ticket. the officer said he couldnt arrest me do to a power outage at the station but that he was going to put a warrant out for my arrest a.s.a.p. I recieved a paraphernalia warrant without a ticket or going to court and no one else with me was charged. Is this legal? Any advice?

    thanks,
    Paul

Yes, it is legal. The warrant is what brings you to face the charge.
