Consensual sex between minors in California

Hello-
I just found out that my 15 year old daughter has been sexually active with a guy who is 17 years old. She claims they have been dating for 2 months and this has happened numerous times.

What are my rights as a parent to protect my daughter. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!!!

Call the police, then go to court and get a restraining order.

It IS against the law for even minors to have sexual relations. However, chances are that no charges will be filed in this case if it is a mutual thing and they are both underage (but you never know). It might still be best to contact the police.
