Is it Double Jeopardy if You're Issued an Additional Ticket by Mail
My question involves traffic court in the State of: Pennsylvania

Ok heres the scenero: A traffic stop is conducted and there are three violations and three citations are going to be issued to the driver. All three citations are entered in the computer and transmitted to the magistate at the scene. The first two tickets are printed out in the car on a in car printer. As the third citation is getting printed, the printer jams up. The police officer gives two citations to the defendant on the scene and tells him that he will mail him the third copy because he can't get the printer to work. The citation is mailed certified to the defendant and return undelivered. The defendant does go to the magistrate and pleas not guilty on all three citations and a hearing is scheduled. My question is does a double jeopardy issue exist, and can the defendant be found guilty of the citation that was not furnished to him at the time of the stop.

double jeopardy is being tried for the same crime twice. It has nothing to do with being charged such as you asked about.
