Expired F-1 Visa and is Planning to Get Married
    Hi,
I entered here in the US through an F-1 student visa on year 2008. My F-1 visa expired last Dec. 2010 but my school give me a one year extension of stay for teh reason that I am not yet done with my Associate's degree. So, I got a new Form I-20 with the new expiration date which is Dec. 2011. My boyfriend and I are planning to get married, soon. Here is my question - Am i still eligible to File Form I-485?...My F-1 visa already expired, but my Form I-20 was granted a 1 year extension. I'm currently a full time student..I'm just confuse about it.

    Can somebody help me?

If your boyfriend is a citizen, you will qualify to attempt to adjust your status based upon marriage.

Note that there could be issues relating to your overstay, particularly if you leave the U.S. while your petition to adjust your status is pending (or before filing).
