Re-Entering USA on B1/B2 Visa at Different Port of Entry
I am an Indonesian citizen. I have a B1/B2 visa that was granted in August 2010 for visiting Hawaii for tourism purpose for 2 weeks. I had no problems at immigration clearance. Arrived and departed as scheduled. The visa expires in August 2015.
I would like to visit Los Angeles and Las Vegas later this month for tourism purpose.
I have found a curious question & answer at yahoo answers and wish to know if this is the case.

My question is, can I re-enter USA at a different port of entry on this visa?
Thank you.
Re: Re-Entering USA on B1/B2 Visa at Different Port of Entry
You may apply for entry for tourism on a B2 visa at any port of entry any time before the expiration date of the visa.

Thanks T53147 for your reply.
Apply again?
Doesn't a tourist visa suppose to grant a person entry to a country for tourism purposes?
What is the point of their granting a visa for 5 years in the first place?
US visa seems too complicated.
Re: Re-Entering USA on B1/B2 Visa at Different Port of Entry
He didn't say "apply for a new visa". He said "apply for entry". As he said, you can do that using a visa that's valid for multiple entries at any port of entry.
When you go up to the immigration officer, present your passport and visa and ask to enter the United States, you're applying for entry.
