    Divorce and Guardian Ad Litem
My question involves a marriage in the state of: ohio

Hi...going through divorce.....have a restraining order against my wife for domestic violence charges.
I have always worked alot of hours and my wife has babysat at home every now and then. I will be having a visit with a GAL in the near future. My wife has never taken care of the house....never throws anything away etc...and there is clutter EVERYWHERE our kids rooms are disasters books. etc....toys....games....everywhere..........all kinds of stuff on kitchen counters and kitchen table....none of it is mine.....all hers and the kids. I have done basic stuff....vaccuming....cleaning bathrooms etc. as well as yardwork.

our kids and myself have been alone in the house now for a month and i have been hesitant to throw anything away....don't want to get accused of throwing something of my wife's away.....I have done the basic vaccuuming......bathrooms....dishes....etc.

Is it in my best interest to continue to leave the house conditions "as is" so the GAL would see the conditions and how my wife did not do "her share" to take care of our home??.....I know....I have lived here with her as well....but as I said....I have worked....and I do work alot of hours....and my wife has always been staying at home.........thanks!!

Your wife has been gone for a month - if you let the house sit "as is", you're basically showing the GAL that you're ok with the conditions and have in fact done nothing to change them.

So it's up to you - do you want to show the GAL a clean and tidy home, or not?
