Creating a Website to Complain About My Experience
I was lied to by a service provider and as a result of me confronting their lying employee, I was denied service and told to stay out of their store.

I would like to expose the liar and to do so am considering registering a web site with a very close name to theirs (e.g theirs is NameCity.com -- I would register something like Name-City.com). I am considering posting pictures of the lying employee and describing the story for all to see. It would definitely be very unflattering to the employee and would encourage people to shop elsewhere. It would be very easy to have someone enter their establishment and photograph the liar.

Would going through with this expose me to legal liability? Would I be violating any privacy laws by posting a picture and identifying someone without their consent or against their will?

My intent is to shame them and expose and embarrass the liar. Perhaps the liar could claim harassment or libel/slander/defamation or lost business as a result of this?

Re: Similar Webiste - Posting Negative Details
    Don't be ridiculous.

Firstly, it's a lot of effort to go through simply because one individual pissed you off. The public at large? Doesn't care that some random stranger got banned from a store. No, really.

Secondly, you open yourself up to a claim of harassment, and if you keep it up - for instance, head off to photograph the employee (or have him photographed) - it could rise to the level of stalking, for which penalties are quite stiff.

    Let it go. Shop elsewhere.
