Landlord Tried to Tow My Dad's Car That I Had Swapped with Him for the Day
My question involves landlord-tenant law in the state of ohio.
My dad needed to borrow my truck to run some errands for the day so I agreeded to swap him for his car. He asked me last minute and swapped at midnight. The next morning I was called by the police saying my car was about to be towed because my landlord called to have it towed.
In our lease agreement it is stated that I have 1 parking space on the east side of the driveway.
She says that I wasn't allowed to have my dads car in the driveway because it wasn't my car and its not registered to me. I say even though its not registered in my name it was still my car for the day.
So either then my landlord having zero compassion did she have the right to tow the vehicle?
    Thanks

What does your lease say about whether the vehicle parked in your spot must be registered to you?

As it appears that guest parking is restricted in you lot, why didn't you inform your landlord that you were going to have a different car in your spot?
