my daughter had a baby born out of wedlock in the state of florida. the baby's father lived with her and they recently moved to another state. in the past few weeks they have separated and my daughter has filed custody papers. the lawyer asked her if they ever signed some kind of paternity paper when the baby was born as the baby's name is on the birth certificate.
is this a qualification in order to have the fathers name shown on the birth certificate or is this a voluntary option.
how can she find out if this paternight gform was every signed.
