Juvenile Sex Offense and Military Base Access
My question involves a background check in the State of: Colorado

I was adjudicated a delinquent for a class 4 felony sex offense at the age of 13. Will this prevent me from acquiring general access as a vendor to military bases? Will the government's back ground check go as deep as a juvenile adjudication?

Juvie records are supposed to be sealed. They are not reported to NCIC. As a juvenile you also were not actually convicted of a crime. No employment requires revealing a juvenile record nor can anyone ask.

You may request an expungement of your juvenile records to the district court you were adjudicated in. If you're not in Colorado, a lawyer can take care of it for you.

The military can see everything even expunged or sealed juvi conviction, how they will handle it idk. If you have not already. I would find out if expunging or sealing the record is possible.
