Once you have moved out, they don't need to evict you.
And once you turned 18, they had no legal responsibility to house you at all.
There's definitely more to this story, but it doesn't really matter. They have every legal right to not allow you to stay there ever again.
But I live in a dorm on campus and my permanent address is at my parents house.
haha No my parent's house is in Virginia.
and my house is in Michigan but I can still claim some address as mine.
so, have you lived in your parents home in the last 30 days?
Yes I was home for fall break for a few days back in mid October.
If you want to really push it, you might be able to force them to evict you BUT since there is no definite term lease, they can change the terms of your occupancy with proper notice. So, all they have to do is tell you now that your rent will increase to $3000/month, you are liable for all utilities, must clean all of the bathrooms and empty the cat's litter box.
If you refuse to accept those terms, you are then terminating the tenancy.
I still think there is more to this story. There HAS to be a reason his parents don't want him in their house.
