Change of Custody with Acs Intervention from Mother to Father
My question involves a child custody case from the State of: NY
My ex has sole custody of both children (13 and 17). 17 yr old was removed from mother for temporary resolution to ongoing issues between mother and child, 14 yr old remains but is subject of verbal, emotional and psych abuse and told ACS workers repeatedly that wants to live with father wants a normal life. ACS supervisor and caseworkers report change would be best interest of children. what is likelihood of actually happening?
Re: Change of Custody with Acs Intervention from Mother to Father
More than if those professionals close to the case didn't support such change. No one can give you "odds". The court will take into consideration ACS's recommendation, but isn't bound to abide by it.
