What's the Penalty for a Teenager's Probation Violation
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Massachusetts

boy late teens on probation, got caught driving with out a license, has a really good lawyer but i know that doesn't always help in laws hands.

he's expecting a baby , knew he had to cut the sh*t.. two weeks later asked his friends cousin to give him a ride to the local mall, no longer than 5 minutes after entering the car they get pulled over, a 30 year old male (the driver) had past a stop sign, he refused to get out then fought with the officer, the teen was asked to step out and he waited to see what the fuss was about, apparently the driver had a weapon under his seat, unregistered with the serial number scratched off.

The 1st court case is the driving with out a license, what will his penalty be?
2nd Case, lawyer is trying to get it dismissed because there are no ties to him what so ever with the weapon, only tie is the car was the car the teen was driving when he got caught.

Curious as too what will happen?

The penalty for a probation violation can be anything up to and including the maximum remaining term of incarceration for the underlying charge.
