This is all moot. The state of Pennsylvania does not have any statutory provisions for the emancipation of minors. In some counties, you can get a judge to declare you emancipated if your circumstances are considered extraordinary enough to merit it, but the fact of the matter is that a whiny, half-literate, jobless child who's pissed because her parents have rules is not in any sort of extraordinary circumstances at all.

Emancipation is not an option. Suck it up til you're 18, then leave. That's your option.

I would not make any assumptions, little girl, as to what the people responding here understand or have gone through in their lives. There ARE people who have responded in this very thread who have gone through worse things that you have described as happening to you, so don't you tell anyone here that they "don't understand what it feels like". They know it better than you do, by first hand experience.

But the fact of the matter is, it doesn't matter one whit what we "understand" or not. The law does not depend on what responders on a message board "understand". There IS no emancipation statute in PA. In SOME but by no means all, PA counties, there have been case by case exceptions when a minor has been able to show that they are capable of paying their own rent, food, clothes, utilities, medical care, insurance, transportation, staples, and all the other incidentals of life, but you have provided nothing in your post to suggest that you meet that standard.

In other words, even if you managed to convince everyone here of the justice of your position, and everyone here agreed that you should be able to be on your own, it wouldn't matter a hill of beans because the law STILL would not say that you are a candidate for emancipation. You aren't. The law would not magically change all of a sudden to say, yes, you can leave home and let the taxpayers support you. (Who do you think pays for that "work thing" at school?) No matter what we "understand".

Cry moar, emo kid. If you're being abused, you call CPS. Clue: Your Mama sleeping around? Is not abuse, just poor taste.

And emancipation is not an option in your state. Full stop. No amount of kicking and crying on your part will change that.
