    Filed Bankruptcy During Eviction Case
hello im hoping someone can really help me out here. I am a landlord and started an eviction case of a tenant and his Girlfriend due to nonpayment for 60days. THe eviction trial was all setup when the gf filed for bankruptcy. Does this mean now I have to suffer and wait to evict them? how about the bf will I be able to evict him?

I love how these people are using the system and in the end honest people are the ones getting screwed. The girlfriend is the only one that filed for bankruptcy and the boyfriend owns all the 3 cars--escalade, BMW, and Mercedes. So they have nothing to lose. So now they are living free and enjoying the luxuries of life...sorry this just makes me mad at the system.

Please any advice will be greatly appreciated

who is listed as tenant on the lease?

2 adults but, when i filed the Unlawful detainer 2 other people brought themselves into the case and im pretty sure these 2 additional people do not exsist, because now one of them has filed for bankruptcy. is there anyway to prove that these 2 additional people do not exsist? cant i evict the 2 adults that are on the lease sooner?

Your facts are a bit cryptic. In the first post, you say it was one of the lessees that filed BK but now you say that a phantom has filed the BK. If either person that is on the lease is not who filed BK, then move forward with eviction of the tenants and residents of the apartment.
