Concur with JK. If you want it back and they're being choads about it, you need to call the police.

I suspect they'll give it up right quick if your city's Finest show up and ask for it.

And it isn't any easier being 18, or 20, or 24, and a dropout. Get back in school.

Maybe you should be more pissed off at your girlfriend instead of the store. If not for HER actions, you'd have your sweater/jacket right now.

If not for her, you would be able to shop the store....

I'd tell her - hey remember the night you got caught shoplifting? They think my sweater was an item snatched by you. Either call them and get my sweater back (was it from a different store?) or pay me for it.....

I'd also think about making better friends.....
