My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: South Dakota.
I got a speeding ticket today for doing 65 in a 55. The officer did not write my driver's license down correctly, he did not write the last digit. Will this void the ticket?

No it won't void the ticket. But even if it does, you're still required to appear so that you can request that it be "voided" at which point, the error could be corrected.
If on the other hand you choose not to appear (something I do not recommend), I can only assume they may try to guess what that extra digit is (it only takes 10 tries) by searching for the correct DL# that matches your name.
