Are 'Beat the Ticket' Websites Worth It
My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Arizona

I got a speeding ticket and came across a website claiming to provide me with all the forms I need to get the ticket dismissed.

Is this legit? If not, can you recommend some that are?

    Your help is much appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Atlas

I would recommend FIGHT YOUR TICKET...AND WIN! by Attorney David Brown and then find another book written by a cop. There are things from each perspective that can compliment the other book. I found looking at it from an attorney's point of view and a police officer's point of view helped fill in the gaps on what best to do.

I tried ordering a book on the internet and was dissapointed. The main thing was I didn't get to read a preview of what was inside the book. Then when I did get the ebook, I pretty much had 90% of the info already from David Brown's book. If you have a question about a book, check to see if its available at a library near you (go to the library's website and you can search for books they have). I've seen David Brown's book at a few libraries, so you might not have to pay for it all. Good luck.

You can go to amazon.com and if you login you can see some of the forms. Its really tailored toward CA procedures. You can look up the general format of pleadings from any internet search. What was the speed you were going, what section were you charged with, and what speed device was used (RADAR,LIDAR etc.)? Did you say anything about your speed to the cop (many people will say they were going 65mph in a 60 zone when they were going 70)? The courts generally just want to see the following with their papers: 8 by 11 size, 92 brightness paper, 1 1/2 or double spaced format, name of plaintiff (state of AZ or other), name of defendant, case or ticket #, date filed or written, & court being heard at in the top section. Then below this information what you are pleading Motion to Dismiss, Request for Production. Motion to Admit, etc. Under that just write what you are pleading in a logical manner. I would recommend using century font as opposed to new times roman and in 12 pt. There may be page limits and maybe not. Further help needed - see your court rules or post a question here. People will help.
