How Long for Unemployment Appeal Decision
My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: California

I know this can vary case by case, and EDD told me 2-6 weeks.

My case was last friday and i'm anxiously waiting.

How long did it take for your cases and what state do you live in?

The EDD's estimate sounds about right.

One time it took 6 weeks for a denial decision, another time it took 2 days for a reversal. You just never know.

It's been exactly 1 week for me today. Nothing yet. I am just hoping and praying that it is a reversal, and in that case, I will happily wait. It's just killing me waiting to find out. Losing your job is stressful enough, but then dealing with EDD throughout this process just multiplied the stress levels. My employer didn't show up to my hearing but they had a case against me. I contested it and didn't say anything to "incriminate" myself. Oh well, I guess only time will tell. Thanks for the feedback though!
