    Open Container, Underage Drinking
My question involves criminal law for the state of: PA

I was walking home from a party in North Philadelphia, and was holding a cup while walking back to the house I was sleeping at right up the street. I was not drunk and had been sipping on that one cup the whole night. Because I was in N Philly, I stupidly thought that it'd be safe to walk back outside because we were so close to home. A cop drove by, and I dropped my cup and did not go up to him car right away because he was dealing with another person that I was with, who was 21. The officer then pulled me over, cuffed me, and took me to the station. He did not breathalyze me nor did he ask for a statement from me, and he did not see what was in my cup. I sat in a jail cell for two hours and then they let me go with a citation, and I have a court date in two weeks.

I was charged with underage drinking when I was under 18, and was entered into an alcohol program.

I am currently away from home at college, and was able to bring my car to school. Right now, I am having a very hard time adjusting and my car is my comfort because I go home every weekend. I would be absolutely devastated to lose have my license suspended and am looking at all other options I have.

You can contact a local attorney to see if they can do anything, but I'm not hopeful. Second offense underage drinking is going to be a year suspension.
