    Possession of Marijuana, Second Offense
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Minnesota

In June I was charged for possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, and about 2 weeks after that I was caught again with only a small amount of marijuana (about a gram). I already have gone to court for the first one and was convicted of a petty misdemeanor and received 2 days of sts, which I have already completed. I was 17 when these things happened and when I went to court, and now I am 18. Now my other court date is coming up in a couple of days. What is the likely outcome of this? I know it happened within 2 weeks of the first but it can't be as bad as someone completing there sentence, and then getting caught again, can it? These are my only run ins with the law and it's been stressing me out badly for the past three months, especially for a college bound student like me. Do you think I will get another petty misdemeanor (since this is a decriminalized state)? and how bad will this effect me?

Was any kind of probation attached to the first charge?

Nope. Just 2 days of sts, no fines or anything. Why?

Because that would be the first sentence in the history of the world that didn't make you have to be good for a period of time in order to have it drop off your record.

I would check those documents again.
