Pulled Over Four Miles from Alleged Violation - Is My Ticket Void
My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Florida
Ok so coming home from school late at night i got pulled over. Speed limit was 55 and i was clocked by a radar stalker going 70(thats what ticket says). He said the amber lights flashed 70. On the ticket itself it is marked as interested. Although the radar stalker has the coordinates of the 4 lane highway with a 20 ft median, he pulled me over roughly 4 miles later after i put my blinker on to get off on my exit. Does that make it void or invalid? Also, i dont know if they have dash cams because as soon as a i got on the highway i got stuck behind a guy going 45 and fhp pulled up behind me not shortly after. I plan on contesting this because if there is a camera, then there is proof i was not speeding.
Re: Pulled Over Four Miles from Alleged Violation - Is My Ticket Void
Florida seems to have a cottage industry where you toss $125 to an attorney in a ticket mill and they clog up the courts and plead it down to something not point related and you just pay the fine.... that's what I'd do. For me it isn't the money but rather the points.
Unless of course it is a bad cite, then the principle matters....
