Red Light Violation on Right Turn
My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Federal WAY, WA.
Red Light Violation on Right turn (Federal way) - BS Pacific HWY S SB @ S320th ST.
I was Driving from Pacific Hwy to 320th, took a right turn on red right,(photo enforced) I failed to come to a complete stop before making the turn (ticket says the same, video showing that too). I was driving in very very slowly, and there was no vehicles in the intersection ( that is clear in video). This is my first violation, they are fined me $124, is there a way to fight this, any way to reduce this fine? Any help on this ?

If you didn't bring your vehicle to a complete stop for three seconds then there is no way to fight it. Pay the fine and move on.

you could attack the foundation of the camera evidence being admitted. And I dont know when they started the "3 sec. rule"-its retarded of course. See the CA Khald case which was another red light camera case that went to CA Appellate court -- of course in CA its a criminal trial but just how lax does WA want to get...even in civil cases you need to provide a foundation prior to admittance of evidence.
