May Be Falsley Accused of Grand Theft

My question involves criminal law for the state of: AZ
Please help! I am in fear that I may be falsley accused of a charge I did not commit. My boyfriend was an owner operator of a big Rig that he had been financing. His payments were rather large and he just couldn't make ends meet therefore he was asked to surrender his truck before they would repo it. I told him he should look into finding a bankruptcy lawyer so he did. When it came down to time for going to court for him he never went. He is a resident in another state than I. He did not go to his Bankruptcy court date. He had dropped me off by my mothers in the state that I reside in the beginning of June since I was seeing a Infectous disease Specialist for a tick borne disease. My Doctor put me on iv antibiotic treatment for six weeks where I was first hospitalized to have the IV put into my arm on June 6th. After that Home health came over my house every Monday to change dressings and draw blood. This is where I come into this picture. In order for me to be able to be a passager in his truck the company made me sign a rider form which at the bottom of the form until later I didnt realize, states that while the truck is under the companies insurance I was liable too if there had been any damages to the truck such as fire theft and collision. Anyhow I asked my boyfriend why he didnt go to court and he said he still wouldnt be able to make the payments even at this new lower rate offered through what his attorney was able to do for him. I said well what are you going to do then? He was very secretive for about a few weeks or so and I became worried. He eventually admitted to having this person he knows take off miscellaneous parts and selling them to him. I told him I was worried that he shouldnt have done that but he became increasingly angry w/ me saying that I had nothing to worry about. I explained to him that I was worried because i signed that form that says I am able to ride with him. He said that insurance was cancelled when he quit. I feel very betrayed and scared that something will happen. I have a phone conversation that I recorded his admittance and I can show proof that I was here sick in my own home state and was not with him when he did this. But the thing is he said he did it after the insurance ended when he quit. I dont even know if I believe him! Can I bring this recorded evidence to the police If i am convicted guilty of something I never did? I did not get his permission over the phone because he would never admit it knowing I was taping him but what about for my self defense. Please help. I am terrified! I will lose getting my financial Aide for college and will lose my college education.

You really shouldn't worry until you have something to worry about.

Of course, the best way to distance yourself from the problem would be to become the person that calls the police when you know a person is committing theft.

Hey CJ, Thanks for your reply, I really do appreciate it. Although, you see the thing is I just cant keep going over in my mind of what if though? Let's just say something did happen, I'm so worried about my college education. I am a little late bloomer and life and I went through a lot of trials and tribulations. I finally got my s___ together. I cant help but keep reviewing my defenses. If something did happen I would no longer get financial aide for my education. Schools regulations. I know I sound like a worry wart. Your Mark Twain message did enlighten me though. Thank you for taking the time. I so much really do appreciate it.
