    Michigan Pardon After Probation
My question involves expungements or pardons for the state of: Michigan. I am not eligible for an expungment since in 2002 (age 19) I was charged with 4 counts, 2 counts of intent to deliver of a controlled substance and 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance. For some reason I was not given HYTA or maybe the case did not fall under MCL 333.7411. The plea was for 2 counts of possession of a controlled substance...MCL 333.7403a5 (not knowing at the time that I would want this expunged and now I cannot due to it being 2 counts) Sentence was for 60 days with work release, $3,870 fine, 3 years probation, 140 CS.

Over 7 years later I am unable to find a job (even after been offered 3 in the past month but then rescinded due to the felony)

I have read plenty of threads about Governor Pardons and since Michigan has two request forms (Current Prisoner Request for Commutation & Pardon) and (Application for Pardon after Probation)<----this is the one I filed on Friday, does anyone have any concrete information on the process and/or outcome results from previous cases or links?

To say that the granting of pardons in Michigan is rare would be an understatement. No harm in trying....
