    Negligent Driving, Second Degree
My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Washington

I got a ticket yesterday for negligent driving in the second degree, a failure to obey traffic control device, no license plate.

I drove through a yellow light, in other words i sped up to go through yellow instead of slowing down, the cop pulled me over and gave me a ticket for negligent driving 2 and running a yellow light, but he doesn't know how fast i was going, because he didn't clock me. What can i do? the ticket is $798!! The licence plate was behind my windshield, i needed to get a license plate mount to mount it, cause i recently fixed my car. What are my options to dismiss the ticket? at least the negligent driving 2, its $550. Please help, thanks.

you got a ticket for running a red like in all likelihood & was negligent driving as well when you did it....at least what your charges are for...you cannot get a ticket for running a yellow..
