My question involves a child support case from the State of: Florida
Bio Dad moved out of state two years ago. He has paid child support for all of that time and had frequent visitation with our daughter. However, three months ago we had a falling out and he has not communicated with our daughter since. He is still paying his child support but uis not calling, mailing, nothing. I have tried to leave messages asking him to call our daughter. Is it possible to have his child support raised due to no visitation?
Thanks!
It depends on how the CS amount was determined.
Was Dad's (NOT "bio Dad) parenting time included in the calculations?
If it was and Dad is no longer using his parenting time then the order *might* be able to be modified.
3 months isn't all that long, you should wait another 3 months to see what Dad does. If he still isn't using his parenting time then you can consider filing for a modification.
