My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Nevada
I just tried to file my weekly claim in Nevada online. I was not allowed to and a pop up showed and stated that I have an eligibility issue. I have been out of the state looking for work in Colorado. Can this have something to do with it? I'm really nervous and freaking out especially because its the weekend and I can't call anyone
You can't make the system accept your claim today if it's blocked. You'll have to wait until tomorrow and call and find out what the problem is.
We could only guess as to why you have an eligibility issue, or how the state would know of your absence. Do you have any more facts to share?
The only way the state would know of my absense if by debit card transactions. I am not sure if they can obtain that information. I would love any guesses as to why the state would do this. I have been researching online and can not find any information about why the state would block someones account for an eligibility issue
