Is There a Difference Between Formal Probation and Banked Formal Probation
My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

Is there a difference between Formal Probation and BANKED formal probation when it comes to searching. Two cops came to my grandmas house that is not my probation address to do a "probation sweap" with only two cops that have it out for me. so it was a illegal search and siezure but i was wondering if bc i am on Banked probation will that help me with my case at all?

Banked probation is a form of probation in which the offender has minimal oversight by the probation department. Banked formal probation is a term that you might encounter in a drug court or similar context, in which the offender receives close judicial, treatment and police jurisdiction and thus the involvement of the probation department is deemed unnecessary.
