Warrant for MIP

I just got my second MIP in California. I was planning on attending my court date but accidentally missed it. Now i have a warrant and I am not sure if i Should turn myself in... the MIP has a mandatory license suspension and I would like to avoid it if possilble. if I don't, and i get caught for the warrant after i turn 21 will there still be the same consequences? Is there also a chance that if i get caught for it the case could go to trial in a different court? Thanks for any advice.

The warrant does not go away by itself. It will dog you forever. It would be better to deal with it now than have it catch up with you later and cause you to lose a career, a car, or something else.
