Grand Theft Auto After My Break Up

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Tennessee & New York.

I was living in Tennessee & was dating this girl for quite some time. I had a pick-up truck that I bought but had registered & insured under her name. Even on the title, she is listed as the owner. After we broke up, I drove back up to NY to come back to live here. She reported the truck stolen & I don't know what to do. I have a stolen truck in my driveway that can put me away & all because I'm young & stupid. If I go turn myself & truck in, what can happen? If I ditch it somewhere is that ok? Its a 1994 cheap beat up pick-up what do I do?

I'm presuming she knows you took the truck. As such, ditching it will only get you in deeper.

I would suggest hiring an attorney before speaking to the police (which is pretty much inevitable).
