    Advice 18-4-503
My question involves criminal law for the state of: Colorado.
I was charged with second degree trespassing for entering a construction site and climbing a crane to see the view, do I need a lawyer? should I plead guilty? what are the consequences, is there any way I could clean this off my record (it is a first offence)?

Nobody here is going to tell you not to hire a lawyer.

You should decide your plea based upon the facts of your case, after consultation with your lawyer.

Your lawyer is the best person to advise you as to whether you might qualify for a diversion program, deferral, or other disposition that might allow you to avoid a conviction. Policies vary by court and prosecutor's office, and outcomes are both fact-dependent and can be affected by your prior record.
