How Do I Enter Something Into Evidence
My question involves divorce in the State of: Oklahoma

Okay my divorce is still in the works. And the whole reason why I am gone from the marriage is domestic violence. Well no one believed it.

Now that our divorce is not even here yet, my stbx had attacked another girl. There is another Protection Order issued. How can I add that as evidence in my case?

I am just wondering how cases go in situations like this.

Well to show cause of why I left.

Show that he has a history and that I wasn't safe in the home.

He kicked me out in the middle of the night after ripping a cord from the wall threating me.

I have been left broke and without anyway to get a job. 10 years unemployed, I was a housewife. Plus he won't even give me my clothing. I on;y own what I have on. I have been living on a friends couch. He refuses division of property which is all my mother's property which we were holding on for her. I couldn't get a place of my own, due to his unstably over the years getting evicted from one place to another. Basically I need help. I tried to work but was diagnosed with complex PTSD. So when I do start a job if I am lucky enough to get one. Something triggers my past and I am left going to the ER. I need time to get through this with therapy, but that is even impossible at this point since I no longer have a ride to and from that anymore.

So I guess I need to know if I am entitled to alimony as well. I really want to work, I just don't have what I need in order to do so at this time.

    You don't have a lawyer?

An incident that occurred after separation is not going to stand as evidence of why you left.

If you have made domestic violence charges and he denies those charged based upon his character (e.g., "Everybody who knows me knows I would never do anything like that,") you can ask the court to review evidence of the incident to impeach his claim. Note that you should anticipate that the court will want to hear the evidence from witnesses, not a paper document. Similarly, although it may not be enough to convince a court to admit it, you could try to introduce it as evidence of a pattern of conduct.

You really should be working with a lawyer.
