Immigration Interview: I just recently went on my INS interview with my husband.
And I can’t believe the INS officer didn’t believe my husband and I are together. And to mention I am Pregnant. She told us that she is signing his passport ------Pending----- does anyone know what this means.
Pending means "in process" or "not yet decided".

Secondly, She had the nerve to tell me that I am lying about questions pertaining to my ex husband. I still don’t understand what my ex-husband had to do with my recent marriage.
If you lied to her, it is reasonable for her to take note of the fact that you lied, and reasonable for her to try to figure out what that means in the context of this application. Did you go through the immigration interview process with your first husband, or is she referencing something you said during this interview?

I can understand INS concerns about people who are lying about their marriage just to get their Green Cards but have we all not seen the newly wed show that aired years ago?? I mean come on!!! How much are you suppose to really know about your spouse?
Not everything - just enough for the USCIS to conclude that you really do live together as husband and wife.

I still cant get over the one question…………..between what and what avenue your husband lived when you met him? I told her the area and the address- but the avenues around his old house- I just didn’t know
I doubt that you are expected to provide a 100% accurate answer to every question. It sounds like a test of whether you knew your husband's old neighborhood, as opposed to just having memorized his street address, so your answer may well have been satisfactory.

Not even one personal question, not even about our home, And none about our pets
Its just plain discrimination..
It appears to be the avoidance of questions that have answers that can be easily memorized or practiced.
