Registering to Classes Before Adjustment of Status is Filed
I will be filing an adjustment of status in couple of weeks but the school starts before that. Administration in school told me that they accept a copy of the adj of status form as a proof of my legal status here.

I am on a tourist visa right now and will be marrying to a US citizen this week. But our lawyer told us that I should not give a copy of adj of status to the school before we submit to NSCIS.

Is this true? I don't want to miss this semester.
