How to Change My Last Name

I still haven't got my last name changed and I realized that this will be harder than I think. I told my Aunt that I wanted to change my last name. She gave me some good advice and said I will have to tell my parents. I'm going to but I just want to find out more about how to change my last name. At least if I can show them that this is something that I really want to do they might let me. If I go to them with a lot of knowledge about this subject they will realize that. I have no idea where I stand in doing this though. I've been working hard to find out more about this and I haven't got as far a I hoped. Any links or suggestions would help me a lot. :confused:
