Judge Said 3 Years Parole, Parole Says 5
My question involves criminal law for the state of: california

When i was sentenced the judge mentioned something along the lines of, You will serve 85% of 3 years and do 3 years on parole, now i am on parole and i am being told i am required to do 5 years, my parole agent says that for my crime in the penal code book it states i am to do 5 years, and that sometimes judges just say things like a script and it doesnt mean im not required to do what the penale code book says..... i am confused, i would assume what a judge says is what goes, how can i figure this out?

Check your disposition sheet in the court file.

in the sheet, are there things that are stated that are bound legally and things that are not? because unless the court reporter did not copy what the judge said i know it is in there, when i send a complaint to sacramento do you know if this is an easy one and i will be off parole in 3 years or is this something they can argue some how?
