I Shoplifted, Got Caught, but No Info Was Given to the Police
My idiot friend talked me into snagging something cheap he wanted at a store (5.45) while he grabbed something else and was beginning to open it... Well in the middle of him opening it a police officer waltzed up and confronted him while I booked it out of there. My friend gave absolutely no info on either of us, and received pretty much a slap on the wrist and I met up with him as he ran out of the store and we booked it for his car.
Is there any way they can find us to press charges or anything like that?
We gave no info, no details, nothing.
Also, I'm a minor.
This was a really stupid thing of me to do, but I was talked into it ._. :wallbang:

The store has a year to press charges.
You'd do well to stay out of that store, lest you be recognized, detained, and charged.

They likely have your faces on camera.
They may have your friends license plate number.
They may even have your photos posted in the employee break room and LP office.
You'd be best to learn from this experience and not bow down to peer pressure. Unless I can talk you into giving me all your money......

It's very possible they can find you if they decide to pursue. Just stay out of the store & hope for the best.
